Mission Statement

The measure of a society is gauged by the way we treat its most vulnerable members, and with that ethos, empathy and compassion, we will always look to empower those in our care to have the same opportunities as the rest of us.

Through our supported living and extra-care services we shall strive to promote self-esteem and independence, which challenges society’s traditional and entrenched way of thinking.

We’ll be a voice to champion those with care and support needs, achieving true equality, where people develop strong community bonds in their own home, supporting the highest value of integrity.

Furthermore, we shall do our utmost to encourage and expand the message, that people are often underestimated, and are capable of great personal goals, given committed, bespoke, and personalised support.

Our Commitment to Care

The Care Quality Commission is in charge of the inspection of health and social care services in England.

We adhere strictly to health and social care legislation and have regular inspections to ensure we are maintaining standards and complying with health and social care law to safeguard all those we care for. We have regular inspections to see that we are maintaining standards.

"My Mom was accepted at Sunhaven. A wonderful new apartment with all that she needed and more. The facilities already in place there are a delight and the enthusiasm for developing the gardens for all to enjoy is so encouraging."

Testimonial 3

"Recently I have had people in emergency situations, where Upward have worked quickly and in a person centred way to ensure that the person has a better quality of life and immediately felt at home in his new apartment. "

Testimonial 4

"Our son is very content in his new home and has the support he needs to take part in activities which interest him. The shared house environment suits him because he is very social and has made friends with the other tenants. He is still talking about the holiday they all went on last year and is looking forward to the next one."
